A Nuclear Regulatory Commission representative will discuss federal regulatory oversight of the cost estimate, environmental evaluation and the formal decommissioning plan. Invited technical experts from URS, Energy Solutions and Southern California Edison (SCE) will also discuss these topics with the CEP. |

The public is invited to observe. The workshop will be webcast live on www.songscommunity.com. SCE announced in June 2013 that it would retire San Onofre Units 2 and 3, and begin preparations to decommission the facility.
