Value of San Onofre
The San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station is Southern California's largest and most reliable source of electricty. Since 1968, the plant has provided more than 350 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity. Jointly owned by SCE, San Diego Gas & Electric and the city of Riverside, the plant can generate enough power to meet the needs of 1.4 million average homes and businesses at a point in time.
